There may be good reviews about this company, however, there is another side to them. If you are unfortunate to have your furniture damaged by them, then don't expect to have any claim settled anytime soon. In fact, don't expect to be paid at all. They damaged my sofa, see photos, at some point during our move, admitted liability but did nothing about it, said they had contacted their insurers, but hadn't. I had to contact their insurers to ask for a claims form which I sent to Michael Clark. During a follow up phone call he said he had sent it to his insurers, guess what, he hadn't. This person is not to be trusted, he lies and will totally ignore all your emails, messages etc. If this has happened to you, contact their insurers and complain, maybe they will refuse to renew their policy. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

Excellent removals firm, ours was a very long process and from getting a quote at home from Michael to the actual moving day was smooth and professional. The guys, Ken, Adrian and Dillon were brilliant, really friendly and respectful of our things. Extremely quick workers too! We would not hesitate to recommend them. Thanks again guys :)

I called Clark and Sons on a Monday morning to ask them about transporting a piano that I've recently bought. The man I spoke to on the phone was very polite and friendly. He explained that they're used to dismantling pianos and transporting them in a safe and secure way. I was surprised when he said they could do the job on wednesday morning and pleased with such prompt service. Sure enough they were on time and had all the proper equipment at hand for the transportation of such a big and heavy object. They took care in both dismantling, loading into the truck and then putting back together on arrival. They seemed so happy and chirpy and it was obvious they took pride in what they were doing. They were also very swift and smooth when lifting and nothing was a struggle for them. The whole operation was just flawless. Furthermore they stuck to original quotes ( which were very fair in comparison to others) and honestly I can't recommend them enough! You won't find better removals men than these. Removal Company sent 2 vans one worked for clark & Son and another 2 guys who are sub contractors which I wasn't expecting.. had a removal company for peace of mind.. I am disabled ..I have had a stroke and heart condition.. 3 complaints 1 no packing wardrobes which was promise.. so I trusted the 2 guys to pack my clothes as they do offer that service I wish I hadn't bothered what a mess.2. The same lad in question called Lee aged 16 instead of moving my coffee table he stood on it. I had a word with him about that.3..Clark & Son van was full so they started using sub contractors van.. I witness my mirror being taken down from my chimmy wall £145.. I paid for the mirror ...by the sub contractors and went onto there van arrived at my new house..unloaded ...later that day whilst unpacking. no mirror.. checked every where..its not at my old address either..phoned every day.....all they say it's not on the van and we will call me back which they haven't.. this morning the way they spoke to me was horrible all I want is some answers and my mirror. back..sticking up for the sub contractors...

Absolutely 5 star!! From the moment we met Michael we felt totally confident in him and his team and their ability to help us move house. Timely, efficient and hassle-free is how we would describe the whole process. They accommodated us and our changing move date and worked around the solicitors on the day of completion. The delivery guys were friendly and extremely helpful. All furniture that was taken apart at the old house was then put together at the new one. What a seamless process. Would recommend this company any day and from the three quotes we got from others they were by far the most competitive and absolutely the best value for money!! THANK YOU!!!
